Reservation, as I heard it arises from the demand of the schedule casts (S.C) peoples benefits when the India wrote it's constitution it's for the thing that no one cast tribe or group contributes for the law of the nation, we know Dr. Bhim Rao Amdedker gave a lot to the constitution of Indian than any other person but after he's gone what was there, a oblivion lack of the people who can rule the country lack of the decision makers on the higher level of the constitution.
It was just for the taking care of the rights and cults of the different casts and religions people in the constitution and surely it did you need not be afraid it's just a page of the Preamble, that assures the JUSTICE, LIBERTY, EQUALITY, FRATERNITY for all you see here
but it's a matter of shame most of the people of India doesn't know this thing.
As the line in the EQUALITY section says - "EQUALITY of status and of opportunity and to promote among them all." it's just a line now for now the condition of the country is far worse than before it's just a piece of rules that no one follows.
You do it at the bottom level you don't need to sort the casts out in the higher level, if you provide the people similar primary education what's the need of the reservation for the S.C or S.T or O.B.C and if it's going on it's not following the rule of EQUALITY they provide the opportunity for all to pass a I.I.T exam but they reserve the seats for the few guys, who maybe are less talented than the guy who left behind in the competition cuz he don't have a reservation.
If one don't know how to sail a boat how can you make him a captain.
